Sometimes the biggest dreams begin in the simplest places.
For us, The Pantry didn’t begin with a perfect business plan, a huge budget, or all the answers. It began with Chris and me talking about life, family, home, and the kind of future we wanted to build together.
We kept coming back to one simple idea:
Home should feel like a place where there is always room for one more.
That is the heart behind The Pantry.
More Than a Store
When people hear the word pantry, they might picture shelves filled with food, jars lined up in rows, family recipes tucked away in a drawer, and ingredients waiting to become dinner.
We picture those things too.
But we also picture something more.
A pantry is part of the heart of a home. It's where you reach when someone says, "I'm hungry." It's where you find the ingredients for a birthday cake, a Sunday dinner, a late-night snack, or a meal brought to a neighbor who is having a hard week.
It's ordinary.
And somehow, those ordinary moments become the memories we hold onto the longest.
That's what we want The Pantry to celebrate.
Our Dream
Chris and I wanted to create something together that could grow alongside our life.
We dream of The Pantry becoming a place filled with useful finds, recipes, family traditions, stories, encouragement, home ideas, and little things that make everyday life easier and happier.
But our dream goes beyond products.
We want to build a community.
A place where you don't have to have the perfect house.
You don't have to cook the perfect dinner.
You don't have to have life completely figured out.
You can simply pull up a chair and belong.
Because behind every front door is a story.
There are celebrations happening around some tables and difficult conversations happening around others. There are families stretching grocery budgets, newlyweds figuring out dinner together, grandparents passing down recipes, parents making lunches, couples dreaming about their future, and people simply trying to make it through another long day.
We want The Pantry to have room for all of them.
Giving Back Is Part of the Dream
One of the dreams closest to our hearts is eventually using The Pantry to help people who need a little extra support.
We would love to create a small free pantry where someone who is struggling can take what they need without embarrassment or judgment.
A box of pasta might seem small.
A can of soup might seem ordinary.
But when you're wondering how you're going to put dinner on the table, ordinary things can mean everything.
If The Pantry grows, we don't want to forget why we started.
Success won't only be measured by how much we sell.
We want it measured by the community we create, the people we encourage, the families we help, and the good we're able to put back into the world.
Building It Together
There is something special about knowing this is a dream Chris and I can build side by side.
There will probably be mistakes.
There will definitely be learning.
There may be days when we wonder what in the world we've gotten ourselves into.
But that's part of our story too.
We don't want to pretend we're building something perfect.
We want you to see the journey—the exciting days, the difficult ones, the lessons, the victories, the behind-the-scenes moments, and everything in between.
Someday, we hope we can look back at these first chapters and say:
"Remember when The Pantry was only a dream?"
💛 Cori's Corner
For me, The Pantry is deeply personal.
I've learned that life can change faster than we ever expect. It has made me think differently about what really matters—the people we love, the memories we make, the traditions we carry with us, and the way we show up for each other.
I don't want The Pantry to be another website where you scroll through products and forget about it five minutes later.
I want you to feel something when you're here.
I want someone having a wonderful day to find something that makes them smile.
I want someone having a terrible day to read a story and feel a little less alone.
I want families to discover recipes that eventually become their recipes—the ones their kids ask for years from now.
And I want us to be able to help people.
That's probably one of the biggest pieces of my heart behind this dream.
I know what it's like for life not to go according to plan. I know how much a kind word, a helping hand, or simply knowing somebody cares can mean.
If we can build a successful business while creating a community that helps others, that's the kind of success I want.
I have big dreams for The Pantry. Some of them probably sound a little crazy right now.
But every big dream has to start somewhere.
This is ours.

💙 Chris's Corner
When Cori first started talking about everything The Pantry could become, I could tell pretty quickly this wasn't going to be just another little project.
She had a vision.
And the more we talked about it, the more it became our vision.
What I like about The Pantry is that it's about real life.
Not everything needs to be fancy.
Sometimes the best dinner is something simple made with what you already have. Sometimes the best memories happen when nothing goes according to plan.
And sometimes helping somebody doesn't require doing something huge.
You just do what you can.
That's the kind of place I hope we build here.
I'm excited about finding practical products, sharing things that actually make life easier, trying new ideas, and building something with Cori that we can be proud of.
I'm sure she'll come up with about a thousand ideas along the way.
And I'll probably be the one saying, "Okay...how are we actually going to do this?"
That's what makes us a pretty good team.
She dreams big.
I help figure out how we're going to get there.
We're learning as we go, and we're inviting you along for the ride.
